This fan clutch adapter, made of 304SS, allows the use of the "OBS" 1994-1997 Ford 7.3L mechanical fan clutch on the 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L.
WHY CONVERT TO MECHANICAL:
The conversion to mechanical from the electric fan clutch allows the removal of the inner fan shroud assembly, which makes servicing components or performing a job that would have required fan shroud removal on the engine much easier and accessible.
Also, the mechanical fan clutch is more reliable and trouble free. This adapter and the proper fan clutch are all that is needed. You can reuse your factory 6.0L fan.
