The kit includes the boot that connects the intercooler pipe to the turbo and the two T-bolt spring clamps. The spring bolt clamps are 300 series stainless steel with zinc coated bolts with a 300lb clamping strength. Recommended torque is 60 in/lbs.
For use on all years of the Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Superduty. Our angled boot is slightly longer than stock to facilitate many aftermarket piping systems as well as stock applications. More durable and oil resistant than OEM for years of trouble free use. This boot will not fit van applications or Banks Intercooler systems. We do not offer a boot for either of those applications.
Because of the relatively short section of CAC tubing you will need to connect to and the fact that many of the 6.0L steel tubes are bent and deformed at the ends, we highly recommend the Turbo Hose retaining ring - see related items below. Each angled boot takes one 2.5" retaining ring. No additional clamps are needed, nor is there room for them. |
