Q. Is a complete system really necessary?
A. Ask the hundreds of people currently running our systems and I'm sure you'll get a big YES. Better yet, ask those who came to us for help in "fixing" a bad purchase. Most people think that just adding a regulated return is the answer to fuel system upgrades. Our system IS a regulated return, but it includes all the tank modifications, the pre-pump filter, the return line cooler, the regulator, and all the new fuel delivery lines. This is the only way to correct your fuel system problems without introducing even more. It was designed for ALL LEVELS of powerstroke needs. From the stock truck to the highest HP. We have a system for everyone. DIESELSITE does not sell you sections of a fuel system that you have to add up to see your real cost. You get a 100% complete, tested, Bio-Diesel compatible system. We were the 1st to meet this rating, the only to offer a fuel cooler, and still the only to offer the proper filtration required for a regulated return system. All this and the CPR is still competively priced with much simpler, less equipped systems. There is still no comparison.
Q. Why don't you offer an option to delete your fuel bowl?
A. WE DO! Our CPRx and our OBS CPR Fuel systems both eliminate your fuel bowl. In fact, our 1999.5 PSD was the FIRST fuel bowl delete. We removed our bowl and everyone thought we were crazy back then - it's interesting how much other fuel systems resemble ours now though. How flattering... We've been using return line coolers for years and you'll notice that every brand of light duty diesel now comes with a fuel cooler. ;-) We're filtration experts and we inform our customers that the volume a regulated return pushes through that fuel bowl are not what that filter was intended for. So, it's filtration properties are greatly reduced due to the increased volume and no longer sufficient for primary filtration. However it's still a very good secondary filter at the higher micron rating. It IS extra protection for your injectors should your fuel pump ever fail. (CPRx and OBS systems which are fuel bowl delete systems by design have post pump filtration included as does the option for removing the fuel bowl in our CPR/CPRx systems). The Dahl is 2 micron and designed for these flow rates. That becomes your primary filter. Removal of the fuel bowl is only necessary to make room for something else under the hood, or if your fuel bowl is broken and you don't want to replace it. It's a personal preference. Sure, it's nice to make room for other things under the hood, and the fuel bowl delete will do this - but, it isn't necessary to remove that filtration that your OEM filter still provides.
