SPECIAL NOTES: Sam needed a pump built with the anti-drainback feature, but needed it shipped without sending a core. We have those units in stock and should have no problem keeping several of those cores around for these anti-drainback feature trucks. CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I bought this truck in December of 06 with the idea of making it a snow plow truck. I paid 1250 for it running but only driving in reverse. I got a deal on a ford reman trans through a friend and put it in along with a pcm. I plowed with it for the winter, then spring came and I got itchy to do some stuff to it. I recruited my good friend to help with the body work and paint. we "mainly him" removed the bed and all the body panels installed patch panels on the bed wheel wells and undercoated and painted the truck. I next got wheels and tires stock alloys and mickey thompson rubber. I got a chip and gauges off of ebay and then it started. this past year I installed an afe intake, an mbrp esxhaust "damn that down pipe sucks" Beans diesel performance stage 2's and dominator 66 turbo. I then lifted it and while doing so managed to put a hole in the oil pan. The bolts for the track bar drop bracket supplied with the skyjacker kit were too long, so I pulled the engine to replace it and installed new rod and main bearings. After getting it back together I put some gauges on the engine and found I was lacking hpop and fuel pressure. hpop1800 psi WOT chip stage5, fuel 65 idle 30 WOT chip stage 5. I looked at 17* reman pumps but did not want to deal with the drain back issue. I came upon Bob and Sheryl's site and got in contact with them. I can honestly say they were the most helpful honest people I had ever dealt with. They set me up with the adrenaline pump.
I got my pump overnighted from Bob on Saturday at 2:00 and was supposed to leave for a ski trip at 6:00. I could not wait so I went straight to work.Two hours later I fired it up and immediately noticed how much quieter and smoother it idled. I went on a 450 mile trip right after installing the pump and I'm happy to say that I had absolutely no problems. I can honestly say that there is a noticeable difference throughout the power range. low end is very responsive and it pulls strong through the top. Before it would break up towards 3000 rpm in OD. Now not at all. for 469.00 I don't know how you guys have done it but you've got something here alright. Tonight I got my truck off the dyno at my work and could only put down 350 to the wheels because of exhaust temps nearing 1650deg. This is an over the road truck dyno that lugs the engine to asses hp. I only got to 28 psi boost before I let out of it. I know this truck can consistently make 37 psi boost so I need to get hooked up with a car style dyno for some real numbers. I can't wait to get my fuel system in the mail from you, and will now be researching intercooler kits. Over all this was a great upgrade and would gladly recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade from a stock pump. Sam
