The Ford 6.7L Coolant Filtration System. Another first from DIESELSITE. There is no cutting of any hoses or wiring harnesses - or modifications of any kind to any part of the engine. No drilling of the frame required either! We wanted to take any warranty issues or worries out of the equation for our customers. This is our best and most complex coolant filtration system to date. Custom built billet aluminum pieces for the housing and the engine connection fittings.
The 6.7L has a very complex cooling system. The primary high temperature system cools the engine. The secondary cooling system utilizes a lower coolant temperature to cool several coolers. Because these systems are both just as important to maintain and keep clean, a dual filter system needed to be developed.
The dual filter head conveniently mounts both filters on one head unit. The housing bolts to the frame using existing bolts holes and all hardware is included and it accommodates all trucks whether you have the FX4 skids plates or not.
The connections to the engine are made with CNC billet aluminum fittings custom made to eliminate the need for any cutting of wires to relocate the water temperature sensors.
We also supply enough of the same 1200 degree braided sheathing to cover the hoses in the engine bay that Ford used to protect it from heat and to give it that OEM look.
